Special Guest: Walter McCall
Chaplain (Major) McCall currently serves as the Officer-in-Charge for the U.S. Army Chaplain Recruiting South Central Station, Grand Prairie, Texas, recruiting all states from Iowa to Texas. He is ordained by House of Restoration Ministries in Staten Island, New York, and endorsed by The Coalition of Spirit Filled Churches. He was commissioned in 2008 as a Chaplain Candidate and became a Chaplain in 2014.
Chaplain McCall has extensive experience both in ministry and the military. In ministry, he has served as associate pastor, youth pastor, club advisor for a Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, and prison chaplain. He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education and religious studies from Manhattan College, a Master’s in Education from Marygrove College, and a Master of Divinity in urban ministries from Alliance Theological Seminary.
In the military he previously served as Brigade Chaplain, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant, and Captain, deployed at various times in Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria. His Military education includes Chaplains Basic Officer Leadership Course; U.S. Army Soldier Leader Risk Reduction, Dover AFB Family Support Chaplain Training, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Army Reserve Chaplain Corps Battle Focused Training, Chaplains Captains Career Course, Intermediate Level Education Phase 1, Phase 2 (Present).
Chaplain McCall has been married to Jacquelyn Adorno-McCall for 28 years. They have three children: Isaiah (26), Ariella (24), and Isabella (15).
