United Voice Worship is a bridge-building a cappella music ministry composed of diverse worship pastors and praise leaders from Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas. Naomi Walters lives with her husband (Jamey) and their two sons (Simon and Ezra) in Rochester, Michigan where she is the Dean of the School of Theology and Ministry at Rochester Christian University. Before working at RCU, she served as a preaching minister with the Stamford Church of Christ in Stamford, Connecticut. Naomi earned her M.Div. from Abilene Christian University and her D.Min. from Lipscomb University. Naomi has always enjoyed reading Scripture with others and imagining the kingdom of God described therein, a passion that informed her congregational preaching ministry and now shapes her work as a professor. In addition to Scripture, her academic interests include homiletics, spiritual formation, and worship. Naomi also enjoys reading, running, playing soccer, listening to music, and watching TV and movies. She prefers salty snacks to sweet, coffee to tea, and any time of day over mornings.

Jerry Taylor is associate professor emeritus of Bible at Abilene Christian University. He attended public schools in West Tennessee, graduating from Millington Central High School in 1980. He later earned his B.A. from Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Texas, and his M.Div. and D.Min. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Jerry has served as the minister of Churches of Christ in Texas, North Carolina, and Georgia, and is the author of Courageous Compassion. He is the president and CEO of Emancipation Fellowship Ministries, Inc. Jerry travels extensively speaking on college campuses and at national conferences, and is a popular lecturer at retreats and gospel/revival meetings. He is married to Patricia (Bowden) Taylor, and they have two children. The Taylor family lives in Abilene and attends the Treadaway Church of Christ.

Nijay Gupta is the Julius R. Mantey Professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary. He is the author of the award-winning and bestselling books Tell Her Story and Strange Religion, and his latest book is entitled The Affections of Christ Jesus: Love at the Heart of Paul’s Theology. Nijay earned his M.Div. and Th.M. from Gordon-Conwell Seminary and a Ph.D. in New Testament from the University of Durham. He serves as a senior translator for the New Living Translation, and he co-hosts the popular podcast Slow Theology. Nijay lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Amy, and they have three teenagers.

For almost twenty-five years, Nathan has preached and served in congregational ministry. He has been the preaching minister for the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Abilene since 2016. He is an Abilene Christian University and Truett Seminary alumni, and a recent graduate from ACU’s Doctor of Ministry program. He loves spending time with his wife and best friend Heather and their family. He enjoys reading, the outdoors, and all Houston sports teams.
