Position Information

Job Title: Guest Preacher

Position Type: Per diem or as needed

Salary: $350/Sunday ($400 if over 100 miles away) plus lunch if you can join us

Degree/Experience: Preaching experience

Description: We are currently without a preacher, and mainly looking for temporary substitute preachers who could help us out by preaching once every month or two or three. Our worship service on Sunday morning is from 11am to noon, so all we are asking for is about a 25 minute sermon. Our congregation size is about 30, mostly retired from more urban areas, so we are not like a lot of small town Texas churches. We are not very progressive, but neither do we have any interest in hearing why we are right and they are wrong (or for that matter why we are wrong and need to be more progressive or less progressive). We highly value the love, fellowship, and unity in our little church family. We are looking for someone who can preach a sermon from the Word that speaks to us.
